Eldritch horrors from beyond reality. Fae tricksters. Men in black, stalking from the shadows...
Elizabeth Shepherd is a woman running for her life. It seems that life is more than tabletop games, pizza, and wicked motorcycles. After making an impossible bargain to an inhuman abomination, Liz faces terrifying servitude. She never expected the creature to know that she wielded elemental powers- however it seems that she may have been wrong. Her uncanny powers are exactly what the Gaunt horror was looking for. It's possible that running away might have been a mistake. After mutated movie demons ruin the anime room at a local convention, Liz has had enough. If the eldritch stranger is to take her as a prisoner, he'll damn well have to catch her first. Soon, everything spirals far out of her control. As her mystical mentor goes missing, Liz is battling aberrant wolf-arachnids, making deals with murderous fae creatures and leaping off of skyscrapers to escape men in black. And behind it all, the ramifications of her bargain await. Perhaps she can rescue her mentor, find her father and save her friends from tentacled horrors... But then again, Liz's dice hate her. As she catapults herself into the labyrinthine lair of an elder horror it becomes ever more apparent that, once again, she's about to roll snake eyes.
