The ravenous dead. Sorcery and uncanny signs. A crimson star in the sky.
What if you caused the apocalypse?
Grace never thought she would have to flee for her life from her ravenous, blood-covered roommate. She also never thought her roommate would become an undead monstrosity that had clawed out her own eyes.
Sometimes life takes odd turns.
This sharp and jagged turn came the night of the Wormwood Star, which shone hateful and crimson in the sky. The night the dead awoke and twisted aberrations hunted humanity.
Technology corroded.
Sanity faded.
Civilization collapsed.
While Grace and her rag-tag comrades delve into hidden mysteries, her mind devolves into broken dates in history and unfathomable, mathematical blasphemies. Her very memories are haunted by arcane horrors. As the world descends into insanity, she must question everything she believes.
A dire equation unravels the world, one which she must solve. One variable will unmake history as we know it. The other will kill everyone she's ever loved.
While Grace races against the fall of history, she knows only one thing for certain:
The equation is not complete.
