In The Perfect Guy For A Bad Girl, after losing her mother, Raine is left with the task of raising her three younger brothers. Moving to the hood from the suburbs was considered to be the worst thing that could have ever happened to her.

Although she is at the top of her graduating class and has received multiple scholarships, Raine struggles to stay focused during the last few months of high school. Her younger brother, Joog, steps up to the plate and attempts to become the man of the house. But Joog is an amateur and knows nothing about dealing with the streets. He quickly learns his lesson about trying to run with the big dogs, leaving Raine to pick up the slack and do whatever it takes to make sure that she and her siblings are taken care of.

Shady watches Raine from afar as he runs the hood. He is the number one hustler in the streets, but what glitters isn't always gold. Shady gets in a little trouble and is sent off for a little while. While he's away, he vows to get his life together and come back with a positive mind and spirit. When he returns, young and sweet Raine isn't so innocent any more. Shady begins to wonder what would have transpired if he wouldn't have left and pursued Raine when he first laid eyes on her.

Raine has transformed into a grown woman and the things she's done to keep money in her pocket are shameful. But for her family's well-being, she would do it all again. What is the perfect guy supposed to do when he falls deeply in love for a bad girl?
