Second Chances

The summer days are winding down and Charlotte's grandchildren are heading back to school, but she is feeling unsettled. Charlotte knows she should be glad for peaceful autumn days, but she can't stop wondering what it will be like when the kids grow up and leave for good. What will she do with herself? She has always been interested in nursing and decides to volunteer to help out at the local retirement home. Her surprising friendship with one of the residents teaches her more about second chances than she ever expected.
