The Broken Sword

(2021)
(The sixth book in the Wandering Blacksmith: Hardening the Steel series)
A Novella by

King Tombrok of the Ferys calls on Heerking of Nordheim for support against the predatory Teodin. Both kings are among the few survivors of the Battle of the Bloodswamp, so Grimwolf renders aid and his sword breaks in the fights.
Just off the coast of Ferysland is Isenkliff Island, home to Brynnir’s magical forge. It makes good sense for the Heerking to take the opportunity and sail to the smith of Isenkliff to ask him for a sword because an Aurora-blade is waiting there for every hero.
Grimwolf does not know that the woman to whom he owes his life also lives there and that the last Kri is growing into a man. Must he fall by the hand of an enemy whom he has believed exterminated for thirteen years?

This story was first published in: Hardening the Steel (Wandering Blacksmith 1). Each book is prefaced by an introduction into the Wandering Blacksmith series and can be read as a standalone.
