Coyote Ford's citizens lived in fear after Rance Heckart and his band of killers decided the tiny settlement was the perfect hideout - there was no telegraph, no stage line, and no contact with the outside world. The people had two chances: one named Valentine and one named Emerson. The trouble-shooters stayed to risk their lives and wreak havoc.
