Alone for three long years, Scott James finally returned the rustic Eel River cabin that he shared with his late partner Bill. On his first morning he ventured out to a familiar rock by the placid river, but when he glanced up, he sees a darkly handsome bearded man staring at him, from across the river. Later that day while shopping in the small town, he found a small art gallery. Before he turned to leave, he noticed the same man from the river. The store clerk introduces artist Morgan Peters to him, and they both men feel the attraction between them. During the following days their attraction grows, but will Scott be able move on from the old lingering memories of his life with Bill, or will they haunt his chance for a new life with Morgan?
