No more whining: out with the old Jay, in with the new.
Having arrived back on Earth after the Trial Phase, Jay can’t quite remember why he wanted to. His apartment is still trash, his job still sucks, and his life is no less a dead end. But he’s also more than the human he used to be. There’s no reason for him to live the same way, and he needs to get stronger.
Strong enough not to repeat past mistakes.
But even such a simple need takes Jay down an unexpected path once again, one of violence and criminality that the old him never would’ve accepted. Yet, like the god still stuck in his head keeps telling him, old Jay was lame. New Jay must still fight in the next phase of the Celestial Tournament, and he intends to win without hesitation.
Too bad there’s more to it than just fighting this time. Even new Jay wasn’t expecting to start a cult.
Genre: Fantasy
