The Missing Minx

Nadine Price, the beautiful new barmaid at the Riverside Hotel in Larne, revelled in stealing young men from their sweethearts, playing them off against each other and discarding them. When the community was seething with anger, she vanished. Various people were suspected of murder, but the police were convinced that Nadine had bolted and the case was closed. However, the village was still a hotbed of suspicion and ex-Superintendent "Tubby" Greene was persuaded to visit Larne, in a very private capacity, to see what could be done...
