This book is part of a series and is not meant to be read as a standalone. It contains homosexual relations, violence and course language.
The Santorno-Youngblood family has seen its share of heartbreak and violence, and a wave of new threats guarantees that it isn't going to change anytime soon. As their kids continue to come into their own as young adults, they and their friends find every decision has a consequence and some consequences can be deadly.

Stefan and Jordan find their hands full yet again as life tosses obstacle after obstacle in their path as if it were trying to set some kind of "screw you" record. The mob side of the family rears its ugly head as ghosts from the past will do anything to destroy the close-knit extended family. Stefan walks the high wire between sanity and the dark side, constantly battling his take-no-prisoners alter ego as Jordan fights to keep him steady.

The kids prove yet again that they are nor afraid to embrace the old ways of the Santorno family lineage as they protect those they love most at any cost. As new love blossoms, steady relationships are rocked to the core when trust is stretched to the limit.

When more than one of their own is hurt, the family becomes closer and more dangerous than ever. As before, what goes around comes around -- and karma is a bitch.
