When you’re lower middle management in a Magic Mountain, the Employee Handbook and managerial structure are nearly as big a menace—and definitely as twisty—as the never-ending chasms within the mountain.
Luckily, Rhonda loves the twisty chasms and never-ending intricacies of both the Mountain and her own Department of Cavern and Subsonic Noise Maintenance. She likes working for the Mountain, and she knows how the rules work there—or at least, how to make the rules work for her. She certainly doesn’t want to leave her position.
