Harvest of Ghosts
(2027)(The second book in the Otherworld Unleashed series)
A novel by Yasmine Galenorn
We're the D'Artigo Sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Camille is a wicked-good witch, as well as Queen of the Keraastar Knights. And Menolly? She's living on the edge of the Crimson Veil and neck-deep in vampire politics.
As for me? I'm Delilah, a two-face werecat. I'm also the consort of the Autumn Lord, married to a shadow-dragon, and mother to an Elemental Princess and my Elfin foster-daughter. And now, in my duties as a Death Maiden, a host of ghosts want help that I may not be able to give them...
With the Demon Lord Desanguas on the way, we're trying to make preparations, but we don't know when he's supposed to arrive or what he's planning. Camille and her men are in the middle of moving to a new home and sorting out their lives after she loses her position as Fae queen. And Menolly is dealing with her mother-in-law's increasingly stringent demands.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to help a group of ghosts, including Chase, who have been infected with a disease raging through the spirit world. The disease turns otherwise friendly spirits into crazed hungry ghosts, who are out for vengeance. If I don't figure out what's causing the disorder and how to stop it, the world will be at the mercy of the spirits of the world as they band together to destroy the living.
Genre: Urban Fantasy
