He knew who was involved in these killings. He might not have committed the crimes, but the killings happened under his guidance. Just to satisfy himself, Ryker and his guys travel to the state prison to meet with Erik Cleggman, prolific serial killer.
Erik remains in a single cell, and he hasn’t spoken since his arrest.
