A Story by

Marie Claudette Comeaux has a dream of owning her own restaurant, and she has been saving for years to put money down on a perfect spot. But when a counteroffer disrupts her plans, she is left with less than a month to come up with the remaining funds or watch her dream crumble before her eyes.

Thankfully, the French Quarter holds an annual gumbo cooking competition with the prize money set to be just over the amount she needs. However, Marie isn't too well-versed in gumbo.

With no other options in such a short time, Marie is pointed to the Voodoo Queen’s tomb in the St. Louis Cemetery to set her request. Though it is not Marie Laveau who shows up, but three juvenile demons in disguise.

With a new offer at hand, they travel to Hell where the Demon King has a request of his own. Three mortal queens for a prize-winning gumbo recipe.

Paired with the King's most trusted chief, Marie is stuck in Hell until something worthwhile is made.
