If I hear the words peppermint and latte together again, I'm going to stomp right out of here.
But out of here is into the snow, so I'm going to stay put.
When the coffeeshop hires a new temp for the season, and he's trying hard, but not getting it, I about lose it.
But he asks for help and since that's what I want to do with my life as a social worker, I can't say no.
I give him extra lessons and he shows me that not all things of the season are bad.
My dream isn't to work in the coffeeshop, but sometimes dreams change and sometimes the dream is right there in front of you...making a peppermint latte.

I love everything Christmas. Comes from having a grandma who made every year extra special after my mother died.
And now she's gone and I'm on the fast track to taking over the coffeeshop company soon.
But I'm not sure that's where my passion lies.
When I'm forced to work in our busiest cafe, I'm overwhelmed. This isn't easy, like my father thinks it is.
And when Marley takes me under her wing and shows me how to make the perfect snowflake foam art, I'm going to show her how to enjoy the season.
Our date takes us all over the city and by the end of the night, she's meant to be mine.
But she has dreams, and I can't take those away from her.
Can I help her to see that she can have her dreams and we can have each other, too?
