‘Saint’ Patrick North doesn’t grant wishes. He executes them.

After a decade as an enforcer for the Libellula Family, I’ve decided it’s time to retire—for the most part. I still take the odd hit now and then, but I’m trying to go straight… and that’s when I meet Noelle.

A gorgeous redhead with a body that has me instantly fantasizing over my peppermint tea, I can’t help but notice it when she starts stabbing the keys of her laptop, angry tears in her eyes. As soon as I get the chance, I take a peek, and notice that she’s typed out a Christmas wish list of five names.

The five men who hurt her.

The five men I suddenly want to hurt back.

For the next year, I stalk my Starling, watching her from the shadows while being her very own Santa. Only I’m ‘Saint’ Patrick instead of Saint Nick, and instead of bringing her presents, I eliminate the names on her list one by one.

Now it’s Christmas again, her wish list has been cleared, and it’s time for me to get the one thing I want for the holidays: Noelle.

Noelle

When one of my former colleagues dies, I’m glad. After a holiday party the year before that left me shattered and angry, all I wanted was to see the five men who took advantage of me get what they deserve. I even wrote a wish list, asking for revenge—though I’m stunned when I get it.

Because now it’s another Christmas and I just saw on my phone that the last of them died in a ‘accident’ that seems way too coincidental. Almost like someone read my list.

Like someone was giving me everything I asked for…

Spooked and a little worried, I disappear to a secluded mountain chalet for the holidays, never expecting that a mix-up would lead to me having an unexpected guest for Christmas

Or that he’s the contract killer/stalker who’s been granting my wishes all year…
