Our story starts with her on the run from both the gods and the immortal sects. She’d thought her plan was perfect, but the gods tended to be uptight about members of the spirit clan borrowing a cultivation of ascension to godhood. Total control freaks, really, she didn’t see the big deal. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough heaven’s law was raining punishing lightning bolts down her, which would no doubt lead to her death.
She’d need a miracle to survive, fortunately the deity provided one, for a heavy price. He had a problem, and her punishment was to fix it. The problem?
The new world he made was a total mess, and not at all as he’d intended it to be. Mortal free will could be a problem that way… On the good side, if she fixed it there would be rewards, even if she was stuck there alone, forever.
