Caleb is a little off, mostly due to the hallucinations and nightmares he’d seen all his life. He’d learned that they weren’t hallucinations, and he fought against the evil tide in an endless war with a team that had grown to be his family. The traitor had been unmasked and dealt with, but there were other threats. Not to mention unintended consequences from Stephanie’s actions.

Their future gets a little murky, as they’re assigned a series of very dangerous mission as well as one filled with political pitfalls. If that wasn’t enough, he has some personal growth to do as he and Stephanie grow closer, and he meets the wider world of supernaturals.
