When Jenny was eight, she did something really bad. She's been waiting to pay for it, even since.
Life has handed prison officer Jenny nothing but luck. Yet a perfect partner and great friends can't erase the memory of that day, nor the guilt that gnaws away at her. Desperate to coax the bad karma that's waiting for her out of the shadows, Jenny decides to take fate into her own hands with her 'Tuesday activities'.
Every week, Jenny carefully plans her day off, embarking on ill-advised walks with dangerous dogs or booking dodgy hot air balloon trips. But still, nothing happens.
Instead, Jenny's secret remains buried deep. Until she forms an unexpected friendship with a prisoner and her tight grip on the bad thing she did starts to loosen. And it's not just Jenny's mission that starts to spiral out of control, but her life.
