The Tale of the Traveling Mender

(2025)
A novel by

Kenric Mender was born the son of a noble and raised to be his father's champion. Kenric took advantage of his status to a point. One day, he crosses a line and pays the price for doing so just before his father needed him to defeat a neighboring viscount's champion. Soon after, Kenric flees north to a neighboring kingdom.
While in that kingdom, Kenric burns through his funds at an alarming rate and seeks to join a mercenary company. Years later, he finds himself destitute and literally in the gutter. Kenric then discovers he can sense mana and learns the healing arts.
A few years later, he joins a merchant caravan as their healer. Eventually Kenric journeys east to practice his talents.
Warning: This is a low stakes tale that is more slice of life like my previous works. I'm also trying a little something different in this tale with Kenric learning and trying to become a better person than he starts out. There is also some talk of sexual assault in a later chapter. Kenric also has sex with several partners, but this is not a harem story. No explicit content is present either.
