For some there is power to be found in death.
Secrets have been unravelled, and I finally felt as though I really had my feet under me. My magic is out, but I have a strong pack at my back. Things with Ethan are going far better than I’d dared hope, and Matt’s really happy. Of course, these things could never last.
There’s one last family secret lurking in the darkness, and it’s rising along with half of the dead within the city walls.
Death magic is a little side business for witches, nothing to be too concerned about. Up until now. Someone has found a way to harness that death magic. Innocent people are dropping dead left, right, and centre. We need to find out who’s responsible before the entire city is lost.
The person behind it is the last person I’d ever expect. This is one fight I’m not sure I can win.
