Orde Fraser didn't come to Humboldt Rim looking for trouble. Only to claim his inheritance -- the government land called the Shoshone Lake range that was now legally his. But trouble had found Orde Fraser in the guise of Turk Roderick, the foreman of the Rolling C Ranch. Turk was building himself a little empire and no stranger like Orde Fraser was going to stand in his way. And so it began. A battle of wills and guns. Of a man who stood against a gang of greedy, brutal saddle bums. And of a woman who had to make a choice -- trust Fraser . . . or lose him forever.
