I wouldn't call myself a control freak. I'm more of a control enthusiast. A control aficionado, if you will. I am quite dedicated to maintaining control over my environment, and I'm not going to apologize for that.
I have a life plan, and nothing will push me off the path to greatness. I'm going to get my PhD, get full custody of my baby brother, build a version of an Iron Man suit, and make the world a better place.
And sure, in the past couple of months, I've been teetering on the edge of losing control of myself. I've got a grip now, I promise. My hunger is taken care of, my heightened vampire senses are reined in, my murderous urges are under control. But, as God as my witness, I will have control over my environment.
But there's one thing I've never really been able to get full control over, and that thing has just appeared out of nowhere, ready to mess up everything.
