Alpha fox, Arken, and his cat, Spinach, have survived a curse that spreads through bites and scratches from the undead for years. It’s been a year now since he’s seen another living shifter. He’s learned to avoid the undead and to fight only when he must to keep himself and his feline companion alive. Still, he’s ready to leave Obizad, but all the Other World gateways – the vital connection network between worlds – have disappeared.
