Friday, 15th July. The outbreak hits. The infected are tearing Portchester apart, and one (not very) ordinary middle-aged bloke survives by hiding out in the Portsdown Hill chalk tunnels.
He should focus on survival. He should help rebuild. He should join the other survivors at Portchester Castle. Instead, he declares war on the local gang who terrorised his nan, stole his bike and, worst of all, burned down his favourite burger van.

The Ender is a darkly funny, unhinged zombie comedy set in the shadow of Portchester Castle, where survival is hard, revenge is personal, and someone insists on leaving unspeakable calling cards in the most unlikely places.
