Riley's Christmas Secret Admirer
(2026)(The tenth book in the Christmas in Birchdale series)
A Story by Ruby Hill
My five-year-old daughter has decided the quiet architect in town should be my boyfriend.
The terrifying part? She might be right.
Jason is sweet, protective, and so good with Brinley that watching them together does dangerous things to my heart.
He’s also gorgeous, charming in that quiet way of his, and suddenly showing up in my life far more often than he used to.
Normally, I’d take the hint. Except… there’s someone else.
For months, a secret admirer has been leaving handmade gifts at my flower shop. Now he’s added letters—thoughtful, heartfelt notes that make me feel like he somehow sees the parts of me everyone else misses.
I don’t know his name. I don’t know what he looks like.
But I’m starting to care about him anyway.
Meanwhile, Jason is helping us pick out Christmas trees, winning over my daughter, kissing me beneath the mistletoe, and making it increasingly difficult to remember there’s another man occupying part of my heart.
With Christmas approaching and Birchdale’s decorating competition in full swing, I know I can’t keep avoiding the choice forever.
Then my secret admirer sends one final note.
He wants to meet me on Christmas Eve.
And suddenly the Christmas present I’ve been wishing for might come with a decision I’m not ready to make.
