Desperate times mean taking desperate measures.

Her husband is dead and now her children are being taken away. Hannah Butler is struggling with the loss of her husband and the family business. Her in-laws have given her until the end of the month to either sell the wainwright business or remarry. Since she refuses to give up her deceased husband’s dream that leaves her only one choice… to marry and to do it quickly. In desperation, she sends out a plea in the territory’s newspaper for an honorable husband who knows how to build wagons and to help her manage the business. Never did she think someone would answer it. But he did.

Calvin Henderson is on the run. His father, the notorious outlaw, Ray ‘The Ox’ Henderson wants Cal to continue the family’s criminal ways and will go to all lengths to round him up and bring him in. Wanted posters are plastered everywhere in Nevada, by the gang, claiming he had stolen silver from a mine in Carson City. His best bet is to hide somewhere his father would never look for him… Utah. But luck seems to be on his side when he sees a woman’s plea for a mail order husband, even though he knows nothing about running a business or being a wainwright. At least it will keep him hidden until he runs again. But could Hannah change his mind?
