Amos thought he had shucked his law badge for good when he settled with the lovely Stella and her daughter Molly in peaceable Chicken Creek. But then Dealey the Dealer was murdered along with a well-liked sheriff. Amos was forced to pin on his badge once more and hunt down the two assassins. Before him lay a dangerous trail to the craggy haunts of Apaches, renegades and women stealers. An outlaw town would be blown apart in fire and bloodshed before peace could return to the territory.
