No fae wants to live on a budget.
With only 34 coins to her name, Daxia is racing towards the bottom, a fate that will make her a mockery amongst her fellow fae. When everything is already dire, she has to flee her job at the tavern because her ex showed up. Unfortunately, there's no severance pay for that.
All Daxia wants is to buy a nice house and live out the rest of her long life in peace. Is that too much to ask?
Sadly, she's years away from her dream so to avoid going completely broke, Daxia picks up an odd job at a repair shop to catch a small dragon. It's not the glamorous treasure hunting that she came to the human kingdoms for but the repair shop has bargains! Irresistible bargains and if she catches the dragon successfully, she'll get a hefty discount. And Daxia loves a discount.
Everything is looking up for Daxia for once... until she runs into her ex, Naia, again. Old feelings and frustrations flare up, causing a headache for Daxia who has to juggle earning a wage, keeping a chaotic friend in check, and sharing a stable with her ex.
Daxia's struggles on her road to fortune are about to become far more complicated than she could ever have imagined. At least the dragon is kind of cute, but why does it seem to have a taste for coins?
