Incidental Murder

Chief Superintendent Pat Stockton, holidaying in a Welsh Resort, is enlisted- by the local police - as a consultant in a murder enquiry. His expertise is much in demand as shortly afterwards, he is called to assist a top Special Branch officer in a highly confidential investigation into a bizarre plot. Stockton, remembering he is a guest, is on his best behaviour. However when the intelligence services intrude into the case, Stockton's good resolutions evaporate and he reverts to unorthodox tactics.
