The recently re-established Aviemore 5 suffers a major setback when, on its second holding, a runner is found dead on the route. With echoes of its horrific past, DI Grump is despatched to investigate the running community of the Highland town. But when he finds previous runners coming back for the present event, he also discovers a bitter feud held deep within the local community.
