An omnibus of novels by G R Jordan
Siobhan Duffy has spent her life in the shadows. As a top-tier operative and brilliant analyst for the British Secret Service, she navigated the world’s most dangerous locales. Now fifty and widowed, she’s ready to trade international espionage for the tranquil shores of Northern Ireland. Settling into a beautiful home on the Donaghadee coast, Siobhan envisions a quiet retirement filled with seaside walks and endless cups of smoky lapsang souchong tea.
But peace is a luxury Siobhan can''t afford.
When a former lover and fellow spy is found brutally murdered at the iconic Giant’s Causeway, Siobhan is pulled back into a world of secrets and lies. Realising that the authorities are outmatched by the Russian mobsters responsible, Siobhan takes matters into her own hands. She establishes Gold Coast Investigations, an agency that quickly becomes a magnet for the province’s most dangerous and bizarre crimes.
To help her, Siobhan assembles a highly unconventional team. Kylie, her sharp-tongued and observant housekeeper, proves to be a natural at undercover work. Declan, her eager and fiercely loyal gardener, provides the muscle and unwavering enthusiasm. And then there is Julian Patterson—a suave, highly lethal former Service colleague who left the spy game for one reason: to finally win Siobhan’s heart. Together, they must navigate the treacherous waters of amateur sleuthing, keeping Kylie and Declan alive while untangling conspiracies that reach the highest levels of government.
The Siobhan Duffy Mysteries is a thrilling four-book saga that blends heart-stopping espionage with gripping local murder mysteries:

In The Bloodied Hands, the team faces a psychological nightmare when a kidnapper begins sending severed hands to the local newspaper, unearthing a dark cover-up that the Secret Service is desperate to keep buried.
Finally, in A Hermit’s Death, the discovery of a corpse in Tollymore Forest Park puts Siobhan in the crosshairs of an elite, faceless ring of hitmen. To survive, she must outsmart a mastermind who anticipates her every move.
