Liberty's Promise is a single dad, opposites attract, Christian homesteading romance against the backdrop of Wyoming Territory in 1876.

Entrepreneur Willis Ogden started the small town of Liberty in Wyoming territory to create a place for his daughter to grow up away from the conventions of his family back East and the lawless terrors of Western cattle towns. He welcomed a lady doctor to practice in Liberty, but he’s not sure he’s ready when the Union Pacific sends a female telegrapher to take up residence in his depot. He’s heard stories about career women on the rails and he’s not a fan of what he’s heard.

Sadie Joan Hill learned ‘the code’ from a border residing at her first place of employment. A jealous family member had her tossed on her ear without a reference. Sadie recovered by getting a job as a telegrapher. It’s taken years to earn her way up the ranks, but she’s been offered the job of station master at Liberty. A small outpost to be sure, but it’s a step up Sadie cannot afford to miss. Imagine. A station of her very own.

It figures the town would be run by an old-fashioned man who cannot see beyond her pretty pink coat. No matter, Sadie has plans and she’s not going to let a man with his mind in the past destroy her future.
