Apple Smith was truly the apple of her parents eye, especially her father Reginald Smith, the Captain of the Memphis Police department. With college around the corner, Apple is ready to head to Harvard, to start what was destined to be a great life that is until volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club for the summer halts every good girl dream she ever had. Running into Kilo, a local d-boy that’s setting the streets of Memphis on fire moving the purest form of coke the city has seen in a while has Apple addicted and willing to risk it all for love. He was cocky, charming, major swag, and undoubtedly a boss. Everything that Apple has never had, and knew she craved. Nothing or no one could stop the love that Apple shares with Kilo, not even her parents, and her father whom she feared and never wanted to disappoint her whole life. Apple’s father tries everything to get his daughter back on the right track, but when he finds out who’s the thug that has his daughter tripping, he just might have to turn the other way.

Kilo knew from the moment his feet hit the pavement that he was going to be the biggest dope dealer the city of Memphis has even seen. With a strong bloodline of hustlers and gangstas, Kilos name ring bells through the streets garnering him the respect and notoriety that many of his peers worked their whole lives to get. With a big bag secured, Kilos and his baby mama Chasity had the whole hood screaming relationship goals. The only problem is Kilos isn’t happy with Chasity. No matter how much Kilos tries to encourage her, she doesn’t want anything in life but to be a hustler’s wife. Considering she has a daughter and her little brother to care for, Kilos wants her to reach her fullest potential. While taking Chasity’s little brother Carter to the boys and girl club in the very place Kilos grew up, he runs into the beautiful, plain and lame Apple. At first he’s not impressed, but hearing Carter brag about the smart and pretty girl that taught him an easier way to deal with his learning disability. He’s impressed and intrigued. What he didn’t know was that Apple would teach him some things. too. How a woman that truly loves you will become a partner rather than a problem. Apple has Kilos feeling things he’s never felt before and on heights he’s never experienced. She was fresh and different, and addicting. The only problem was Chasity—the love he once had for her was gone but she was not giving up history for some lame female like Apple.
