The Hawk Flies on Sunday

Colonel Gregory "Pappy" Boyington is the boozing, brawling, Japanese-taunting, hell-for-leather Marine flying ace who molded an off-the-wall bunch of screwballs into a crew of air demons who only felt challenged when they were outnumbered four to one. Now, Pappy is squared off with Admiral Shigota, practically a squadron in himself, in one of the most crucial territorial struggles of World War II. It's life or death for Boyington and his F4U-1 Corsair.
