For nine-year-old Cara Janiero, it was going to be the best summer! Swimming in the tiny seaside village of Digby Head, Maine...having her mom and dad together again...It was a dream come true. Or so she thought. Then her mom started calling her dad Captain Bligh-but he was only trying to make her relax and get better. No caffeine and no late nights sure made for one unhappy mother! Why couldn't the two of them realize they still loved each other (duh!) and just kiss (yuck!) and make up like people did on TV? And they said kids were dumb!
