As if things weren't bad enough, a maniac out for vengeance is targeting them. Ellie and her group are caught outside of the safety of both the town and the nearby quarantine camp, in a vulnerable position, while Nick does his best to patrol the area and warn of any threats. A life has already been lost in Jay's war, and there's little hope he'll leave before trying to cause more destruction and loss of life.
Meanwhile, the threat of the Zolos virus hangs over them all. Thus far the town and camp have been spared, but with a group of Zolos carriers running around making trouble it feels like only a matter of time before they cause an outbreak.
In this conclusion to the Isolation series, Nick and Ellie must hold on against all odds as their efforts to start a new life are threatened.
