Anne knew there was something very strange about the old house. She should have left well enough alone.When social worker Anne, discovers an old woman living alone in a derelict building ‘streeters’ call Vagabond House, her curiosity is piqued. No-one else apart from the old woman Vera, will stay there, not even in the most inclement weather. And shocking rumors abound about those that have tried to move in – stories of ghostly horrors and grotesque deaths. But it’s all tall tales isn’t it? Afterall, nothing like that could ever be true.
But when a routine visit by Anne reveals a newcomer has taken up residence, Anne must step in and help the old woman. Yet, as Anne endeavors to intervene, she finds herself in the middle of a paranormal frenzy. Who is the old woman so afraid of? What are the shapes that skitter in front of Anne – and what has happened to the newcomer? As the house takes on a life of its own, Anne must do battle. Will Anne succumb to the powers of Vagabond House and her fate sealed with the old woman? Or can Anne find a way to end the curse and free them both?
