Showdown at Painted Rock

When mountain man Obadiah Peabody helps out the little wagon train trapped by armed men in Painted Desert, he thinks he is just aiding another bunch of pilgrims aiming for California.But in among the wagon train sheep there are wolves - the Driscoll brothers, as mean a bunch of owl hoots as a man could wish to meet. After rescuing them, the old mountain man finds himself with a tiger by the tail for the brothers turn on their rescuer and kidnap his adopted grand daughter. Can Obadiah succeed against seemingly impossible odds? Can he even survive?
