The only woman I want is the only one who doesn’t want me in return.
The Brotherhood is my life, and I’ve always been satisfied with that. But now, seeing our president and enforcer loved up with bonds they never saw coming, I’m starting to crave one of my own. Unfortunately, the only one I want to come home to at night is the only woman who rides with us during the day.
I know Roxy wants no part of the bond. Even if she felt it, she’d fight me tooth and nail—maybe literally. She doesn’t need a mate to protect her, kill for her—or die for her.
