What happens when an immortal stares into the abyss?
The warship Lioness enters Hot Stations as two vessels jump from a wormhole into the Aeternan system. The surviving pilot warns the immortals of imminent danger and will speak only to former High Admiral Exeter Woolsey. But Exeter, haunted by his past as well as painful visions, is not prepared for what he will uncover. Aeternan society has reached a crossroads. Even as six little miracles live among them, infighting increases.
