Mile High Mistake
(2026)(The eighth book in the Chester Street Billionaires series)
A novel by J S Kingsley
The biggest mistake of my life happened in an airplane bathroom at 30,000 feet.
His name was Tim. That's all I got.
No last names. No numbers. No tomorrow.
Just one reckless flight with a gorgeous stranger—
and a memory I planned to take to my grave.
Then I move into my new apartment.
And the man from seat 2A is carrying boxes into the one next door.
And it gets even worse.
My first big assignment as an investigative journalist lands on my desk the same week.
Subject: Tim Sterling. Billionaire. Real estate king. Self-made legend.
Supposedly.
My job: find out what he's hiding.
My problem: I already know what he looks like without a shirt.
Every rule I have says stay away.
So naturally, I end up at his dinner table. At my window. Back in his bed.
But the deeper I dig, the less his perfect story adds up—and the less I want it to. Because the man behind the headlines isn't the one I came to expose. And the truth I'm chasing could burn his whole world to the ground.
Then I see two pink lines.
Now the billionaire next door isn't just my story.
He's my baby's father. And he has no idea.
Genre: Romance
