Billy Ray, a veteran who lives in near isolation up on a mountain in Kentucky, has experienced more than his share of trauma in his life, but nothing prepares him for the horror spawned by an anomaly that opens up in a local cornfield. It's a fight for survival as a force beyond his ken threatens both his life and his sanity.
