I run the coziest Christmas-themed bed & breakfast outside Blue Ridge. My cookies are legendary, my mistletoe towel sets are embroidered, and I’m hosting the famous Christmas Market this year. I’m ready for any amount of festive chaos—not for a blizzard that strands the entire Blue Ridge Buffaloes hockey team on my doorstep.
Especially not Mason Reid.
He’s the oldest player on the team. Stoic. Rugged. Built like a snowplow with the emotional availability of one too. When he glares at my Sugarplum Suite and calls my ornaments ‘excessive,’ I offer him a bisca-doodle, a smile, and a place to stay in my bungalow once all the guest rooms fill up.
We’re snowed in together for four days of cookie decorating, fireplace cuddles, midnight microwave mishaps, and one un-for-get-table pantry kiss.
