Alex Megas, formerly Alexander the Great, is the First Horseman of the Apocalypse. His destiny is to unite the world under one banner... before he blows it all to hell. With his best friend and lover, Heston, at his side, there has been nothing he can't do.
Madeea is a hypersensitive empath trapped in New York City. She has tried to leave numerous times, but something always held her back. A sense of some greater purpose.
When she finds Alex, she's surprised to find she can pick up more from him than just strong emotion. Unable to leave, not sure Alex and Heston will allow her to stay with them, she agrees to aid them with negotiations that will decide the fate of civilization.
