Over and over again the men of Gray Wolf have promised their wives that they would slow down, take fewer cases and avoid the bad guys. And over and over again, they lied. Not intentionally. It always just sort of happened. This time they've vowed to fulfill their promise with three glorious weeks traveling through Italy, sightseeing, eating, shopping, and anything else they want to do. With an opportunity to reminisce about how they met and fell in love, and a most unusual opportunity to speak directly to the pope, their vacation starts out spectacularly.
Visiting historic sites, eating amazing food, and making new friends turns their vacation into a mystery. But not for the men. For the women. All the complaining about the men and their desire to fix things and make things right, yet it's the women that get sucked into a nearly 100-year-old mystery. The only thing they have to do is keep it from their husbands, so they don't get lost in the fever that always takes them away. This should be a piece of cake.
