(A book in the Secret Of The Kings series)
A novel by Melanie Knight
Xavia: a land of two races. The Syndarians arrived long ago yet are controlled by the Civilized, the powerful natives. Fiercely intelligent with mysterious powers, their lives are shrouded in secrecy.
As one of the few Civilized against the persecution of the alien race, Celeste despises the savagery her kinsmen have inflicted upon innocent people. Believing the Syndarians to be little more than animals, the Civilized cruelly control them with Bonds, virtual chains that allow them to command movement. She’ll do everything in her power to set them free, by proving a Syndarian is intelligent.
As powerful leader of the Syndarians, Hunter is determined to rescue his people. He defies the strange Civilized woman who dares challenge him, even as she sparks powerful instincts: protectiveness, possessiveness, desire. The Civilized female holds more power than she can ever imagine, yet she will not have control for long. He will lead his people to their destinies. Then…
She will be Claimed by the Hunter.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
