Hi, I’m Nya Luther King, you can call me Nya, was born in a small farming community, in a rural village of the US. My mother worked as a maid cleaning houses. There were times when we had to rely on welfare to support the family.
I love dogs. The family attended church regularly. I have great genetic interest in the Church’s philanthropic activities and service oriented approaches.
My grandmother looked after the children, including my sister and Brother.
My grandmother taught me how to read at the age of 3. As I was a fast learner, quickly moved into the first grade, and got jumps in school’s grade promotions. My grandma, whom I love the most, was the base reason for my love of books.
After the death of grandma, I became the owner of all my grandma’s book collections.
I entered Harvard University, but could not complete my education due to my younger siblings. I became a dropout. I work day and night to look after my siblings.
As I was born into abject poverty in the rural US to a hard working mother, I started a foundation called the Poverty Eradication Trust aiming to wipe off poverty from the world.
