Death at Fernside
A Rachel Markham Mystery
Book Six - In the Mystery Series
When Rosemary, better known as Lady Woolton - an aging aristocratic acquaintance sends an invitation to Jeremy and Rachel, for her 83rd birthday celebration, little do they realise that their journey to the scenic Lake District will throw them into a web of murder, mayhem and deceit. And this time the case is closer to home, perhaps a bit too close to home for comfort. It promises to take all their brilliance and teamwork to unravel an unsolved murder committed twenty years ago. The fact that the victim was Jeremy's mother, Gloria Richards, complicates matters further as they must deal with familial bonds of love and deception, atonement and redemption as they spiral towards the truth.

I love mysteries post world war 2! I enjoyed the character of Rachel Markham very much. A delightful and cozy read.

Such an amazing book...a must read for anyone who enjoys PB Kolleri novels. Finished this book in one day, could not put it down!

PB Kolleri keeps the tension ratcheted high in this thoroughly engrossing tale of intersecting strangers and intimate betrayals. Kept me guessing until the very end.

A well written and at times amusing mystery with a sufficiently complex plot to keep most readers guessing. You can't help but get sucked into the Rachel Markham Mystery Series

Once again P.B. has given us a lovely book. All I can say that is negative about the story, is I wish they were longer. I hope we get to see loads more of Rachel and Jeremy. Thank you for giving us these delightful books.

A little mystery filled with English characters and foibles. Light easy reading, something good for a long cold night. A book reminiscent of Agatha Christie, cozy and comfortable like a warm fire and a cup of coffee.
