All things wild, must be tamed in the end…

Boone’s been hiding from his past for as long as he can remember. After helping his best friend get settled in Sawmill, he’s told he can have a place to marshal next, but he does like always, and runs instead. Taking his time to train at the school for marshals only made him realize he wasn’t up for the job. That’s how people control a person.

When sewing oats lands him in the barely there town of fort of Mercy’s Grave, he realizes the place is riddled with evil, and his new friends need his help or else. When he reluctantly offers to Marshal the one horse town, he’s pushed to find a bride. Boone warns the Fletcher’s that she better have the heart of stone. He’s done with love.

Annabelle Lee’s from money in the south, and when her high-to-do parents foist her off on her sleezy cousin for marriage, she decides to jump on the next train, leaving all her southern comforts behind. She winds up in dangerous Arizona territory, petticoats to spare, where she runs into a tall drink of water who’s looking for his bride.

Annebelle sees her shot at freedom, but her new savior and husband-to-be takes one look at her and packs her right back onto the train. He’s put his foot down and she quickly realizes, Boone’s as stubborn as she is. Their worlds collide in gunpowder and lead.

A marriage fraught with a disastrous beginning---can they turn it around and find love in the end? Or will her secret past and his bandit days catch up with them both and undo their hastily laid plans?

The Marshals of Silverwood is a series of mail-order brides who choose to move across the country to help the newly appointed officers who are trying to bring justice to the wilds of the west.
